VION Food Group owes its creation and existence to Dutch farmers. The companies in VION Food Group continue to enjoy a close connection with their suppliers of raw materials. VION Food Group attaches great importance to this relationship. Where possible, VION support their interests and invests in innovations that will benefit groups of suppliers. One example of this is the development of the information system for pig farmers, Farmingnet. This system, which is unique in the world, offers pig farmers all sorts of quality and management information which can be used to optimise the operational processes on pig farms.
